From one born with much body hair. I have tried all methods. I strongly recommend not shaving, stubble would be more unattractive than the hair itself. Waxing lasts up to 2 weeks. It becomes less painful as you become accustomed to it.
It can cause ingrown hairs, which can result in unsightly bumps.
The best and most effective way is laser. I have used it for several area of my body including bikini. It works best on dark hair and lasts up to 2 years!
